It was great to be a proud Indian. Yes It was. That's not a mistake, it's the exact feeling that I (Yesterdays Indian) am going through currently.I was really very proud for my nation's integration, unity in diversity, cultural mix and on and on. That feeling got b]fxxxd up since the day every insecure leader from northern part of my yesterday's nation started vomiting venom against one person from my region for speaking about the suppression that they are forcing us upon since last sixty or more years.
Am I being a regionalist screwed opinion person? Am I feeling very insecure by the tactics played by those Northerners from UP,Bihar,Delhi etc (think this word as a badword henceforth.)? May be, Yes. That's the way a social animal thinks. I will try to be in a group, live together, help each other and be merry. And when some other group tries to confront my group I will show my groupism, my loyalty to the group (read: society, region, religion, nationality etc). Till yesterday, the Nation of India was the group for me... and now these guys have limited myself to the group of Maharashtra.
Still, I am very proud in being that. Why? again, a social animal has to protect his group and his group's interests...
What I can foresee now is Raj Thackeray, the one who is speaking about the suppression done by those Northerners (read: bad word) is being taken to the states of law and order (The same northern states which keep on troubling other states, who don't have
proper infrastructure, whose leaders live on fodder and crimes) for further investigation and some so called nationalist hurts / kills my group member leaving no other choice for me and my other fellow group members to revert back in extreme responses.
What's achieved?
A nationalist has already converted to a regionalist.
A nation shattered in pieces.
A civil war as a backlash to sixty years suppression. With a trigger of a hurt / killed Raj Thackeray which I would not want.
And for whom?
For those screwed up northerner leader's united speeches instead of being in different parties such as (Congress, BJP,RJD,Samajwadi etc)
For those criminals who are in Ministries?
For those blind people who keep on sending these criminals to parliament? (BTW they have more population so as in democracy most of the members of parliament are involved in one or the other crime.)
For those leaders who are supporting the great cause of Indian divide since more than half of century?
For those states who are up and above all in criminal activities?
For the same state of Delhi, which is currently being called as "Rape Capital of India!"
For those criminals who keep law and order?
For those states where Asian Human Rights commission states that election's are being fought between criminals?
No way... I am not going to suffer for their decisions forced on me nor on my group!
If, by any way they try to force their culture on my group, I will be the first to resist.
These guys have highest criminal records in their states, highest undemocratic values in their hearts, highly appreciated castism in their societies. These ass holes can not enjoy the real freedom because of the fear of being killed by a dacoit or busineess opponent or political opponent. And now they are creating their political and cultural hubs in my state! In my society. I really do not want it to happen.
I am not just saying that... I will be against those actions.
Why it is happening against Maharashtra at this point of time?
Because it can not be done in any southern state which is occupied by proud and civilized people who vibrantly defend themselves.
Then why this is not happening against southerners in Maharashtra?
They are proud for their culture and stick to that, but they do not indulge in creating political and criminal hubs.
If you are a Northerner and do not agree with that follow this:
1) Ask your wife / sister to go for a walk in late evening (let alone midnight).
2) Read criminal statistics.
3) Read statistics about population
4) Try to find out how you contribute to the nation, and don't forget to check out the corruption history of India.
Here I am trying to say: We do contribute your corrupt foddered mindless leaders.
(I added that line, so that you can understand)
5) Be civilized. And You will surely agree!
By the way, who are speaking against Maharashtra in Maharashtra are really enjoying the Marathi spirit of democracy.
Keep it up Jaya, company and similar nuts...
Please, don't try to find any Marathi words in this message... It's the spirit of the message.
Majhya Marathichi bolu kavatuke, amritatehi paija jinke, aisi akshare rasike milavin - Sant Dnyaneshwara.
Thanks for bearing with me, but as I've said earlier I am not going to bear all those Northerners. I expect, so would you!

Edit after Nityanand's Comment
Nityanand's first point: Who is migrant?
Yes, I am migrant in some sense. But, do I try to create a political lobby in your home state / city / country?
I might create cultural group or participate in. Have you heard of any such group in Maharashtra which keeps Northerner's culture alive? (But, there are some groups who try to show their existence and power.) I don't want that they should forget their culture when they are here. I just don't want them to mess up with mine. I want them to learn our lifestyle. Although I do not want them to be strictly following my culture. They should respect my culture and they should forget being outsiders. But they just won't, they will bring Mayawati, Amarsingh(Great criticizer of Shahid Jawan from police forces), Mulayam Singh(Same who wanted to donate Rs. 2000 Crore to pakistan) here.
Just get Off!
Nityanand's second point: Jobs in railways... etc
1) It is not that Marathi people do not have enough talent to crack IAS,IFS,IPS etc but people already sitting their might be biased.
2) Railway administrative divisions are regional
3) Marathi people are ready to leave these jobs if they can get another.
4) Most of Railway infrastructure is in nor
Considering above points, I think:
We can not get what ought to be my right.
Other option remains:
Dont let the India have states based on language. If you do, follow it completely. If you don't always be an unbiased Indian.
Hope, that clears my point

Thakre har kisi se takrata hai isliye usse Takre kehna hi behtar hai..
It's a pun... ;)
Aur haan,
Agar Hindustan me rehna hai to Jai Hind bolo..
There are a lot of people who are against "Jai Hind!" and "Vande Mataram!"
Hindustan has got Most of revolutionaries, social reformers, freedom fighters form these states:
Maharashtra, Bengal, Punjab, then Madras Province.
... In that order!!
Warna Thakre toh kya uske sath mila hua sare Maharashtrians ko Bangladesh bhej denge bina Passport aur Visa ke, phir waha jake bolte rehna Jai Maharashtra.
These kind of statements force me to be a Marathi before an Indian. It forces me to say that, let us see who the hell in the world moves me from my home. I (as a Marathi) am the one who contributes the most for GDP (ref rbi documents).
Reminder: Maharashtra implies Mahan Rashtra.
You can not bait us on anything. You don't have the courage to lose the contributions we are making nor you have the capability to do what you are saying.
Side note: You will not be able to come to Maharashtra if you, expel us. You will require a visa and you will not get that because of pending applications.
Aakir mauka hai sochlo phir kehne se pehle warna 100Crore k Hindustanion k beechme 9.6Crore k Maharashtrian kuch bhi nahi hai, Aur wo tumhara Raj Thakre Ya Takre woh toh dikhayi bhi nahi dega itne bheed me..
That's what I was talking about... These guys have always misinterpreted the democracy. What they only know is about what Mobs keep on doing. Majority wins in the democracy, and majority should have the responsibility. Again, the states like Maharshtra, Tamil Nadu and Gujrath give the most to the nation and what they get back is a Nidhi which is very less than their contributions. When farmers in Maharshtra, Andhra, Tamil Nadu die the central govt always denies proper attention. Because, it is flooded with the MPs from highly populated states.
"In fact, current statistics show that some 23.2 per cent of members of parliament in India have criminal investigations or cases pending against them. The forthcoming state election in Uttar Pradesh is a case in point. An estimated 35 per cent of candidates have trials and cases pending against them. The charges include rape, armed robbery and murder." - Taken from:
Asian Human Rights Commission's site.
Finally:
Helooo... Wake Up!! You don't have the authority, power, courage and valor to do that.
Note: This condition is applicable to only those Maharashtrians jo bolta Maharashtra sirf unka hai baki chale jao karke, remaining All Indians in Maharashtra will be safe..
Regards,
Murugan Nadar
Thanks for sparing...
BTW: Please, do not listen / read other's interpretation about Raj Thackray's speeches.

Hi There,Sorry for the too Heavy subject line, but I thought It would be great if I post my mail sent to my colleagues to share my feelings after completion of my year at Avi Electronics & Networks; So, that it may give a brief idea of an employees feeling for those who might be interested such as: HR guys, employers etc.
Some of the things in the mail apply to all the organizations out there and some things apply specifically to Avi Electronics & Networks.
So without further ado, here is the mail:
Subject: Enjoying Avi!
Dear All,
I am very glad to say that, I just completed my year being in the family of Avi. On this occasion I would like to share my feelings with you all. There are a lot of things I gained and lost on personal accounts in this period.
Lost? Yes, Lost! Such as, since my childhood I always liked to speak, to be at podium just to say something in public. Since the day my professional career started I just missed that thing which started pinching and increasing my depression on these sides. But, when I joined Avi, I've got many chances to deliver presentations, trainings etc and the depression is lost!
It's not that there are only negative things I've lost, I've lost the ability to give the quality time to the friends (Yes, friends. Not acquaintances) from my earlier organizations. Maybe, I can not join the full time courses now etc. I don't understand how can I restrain myself from traveling around and making joy trips or having trek exertions. I don’t understand how can I work on things which I don’t feel like are technologies in first place! Many times, I had to work on things which I thought were not challenging or uninteresting which later turned out to be like experiences that will improve you whether you like it or not!
But, the gains… they are important too. As usual (a sentence which has lost its meaning because of abundant usage, but try to correlate with that.): I have got new friends!
I have got a more understanding of the wider picture of I.T. infrastructure, a variety of different devices which were a novelty for me in past. I got to learn new things (One more overused statement). I got to travel those places in India which otherwise I would have been incapable of or uninterested of. I also got in touch with great many people with altogether different virtues, moods, personalities and views. The most amazing thing was to know that how people from different professions, territories, economical slabs or any other discriminations vary in thinking.
In all, it was a year of happening, change, unpredictability, learning and enrichment. The things I always sought for... personally and in profession.
Also, I may have hurt or helped you a lot many times in those days (don’t try to weigh though). But hey... isn’t it the bedrock of relationships? I hope, to build on that…
Thanks for bearing with me guys,
I hope, we will keep on bearing each other anyhow, anyways, forever...
Yours,
Aniruddha
-------------------------------------------------------------
Enjoy Along the path, not at the end!
-------------------------------------------------------------
Thats it fellows, the mail ends there. Hope, you may have found interesting / useful.

Hi All,I was reading about Large Hadron Collider here and found some very good pictures of the Large Hydrogen Collider (LHC) here. What I found was some souls with lost minds were entering very discouraging comments.
Here was my reply:
-----------------------------------------------------------------
Hey Guys,
What I was reading about was a scientific experiment, an element of human curiosity backed up by intelligence and information to form a base of knowledge in a field we have never gone. What I did expect, from the comments WAS a lot of support (at least moral if not material) to the scientists who have devoted a lot of things for the project to find things unknown to us.
And here it goes:
"religion.. christinity.. god (g small).. silly experiment"
I do not know why these guys are boosting the Devil (D capital) of darkness!
Wake up... Open your eyes... Open Your Minds..
-----------------------------------------------------------------
Mediocratic minds have always killed the best, best philosophies, best technologies, and best men! If you think you are right and are opposing minority, think twice or you will extinguish one more great thing before its birth!
-----------------------------------------------------------------
I request comments on this...

Hi All,This is what I get when I try to view Democrat's site www.democonvention.com
"We’re sorry, but the Democratic Convention video web site isn’t compatible with your operating system and/or browser. Please try again on a computer with the following:
Compatible operating systems:
Windows XP SP2, Windows Vista, or a Mac with Tiger (OS 10.4) or Leopard (OS 10.5).
Compatible browsers:
Internet Explorer (version 6 or later), Firefox (version 2), or, if you are on a Mac, Safari (version 3.1) also works.
You can also keep up with us in Denver on our main web site,"
Oh, Great!
So you want me to have
1) W!nd0w$ experiment
2) W!nd0w$ V!$t@
3) Or, Mac
Ok... should I think it is of some kind of discrimination or... democrat's technical inability?
Whatever it may be, but I don't want to change your attitude towards democrat's (whatever it was before reading this post).
I just want to say, "WE EXIST FOR THE INTELLECTUAL FREEDOM!"
and hope that Democrats will hear and understand what the FLOSS community means.
Thanks All,

It may seem very idiotic if I say the spectacular place I visited was my own terrace! It was after a long while I could get a fresh breath of air in an early morning enchanted with the glorious seven horses lead chariot of the sun.
It was just an amazing view, I could not expect it to be so near to me and still be unavailable only because of my ignorance. I was thinking about it and a flash lit my heart with a great spirit of the thought, "Beauty is in the eyes of Beholder!" and since then, every place I visit is spectacular!

PS: One of my friends wanted me to write about a spectacular place I visited in hundred words and I wrote the above.

I was going through a Book "Sixth Commandment" by "Lawrence Sanders"
and I came to read a beautiful piece of Paragraph which shows a wordmaster best at his job!
Using his wand he may have arranged a bunch of words to give a sound impact on the readers.
Here it goes,
"I think smoke is beautiful, weightless and shapeless. It almost appears as deceptively powerless as the person releasing it, yet it comes from within and rises above us all."
To make a pun I thought, he should have added a few words more : "... as does the smoker!"
To speak about the novel, the plot is great but it could not grip me enough to stick on to it to finish with excitement. Reason, many times the author has went to add too much "Massalla" and has given more importance to the spices than the food / the stuff.

1) 1001. One to install the new bulb, plus one thousand lawyers to assert intellectual property rights over every light bulb ever invented.
2) Microsoft doesn't change light bulbs. It declares Darkness (TM) the new standard.

PLEASE SOME ONE TELL ME the below thing is A FACT OR A JOKE.....ha ha ha ha
Its being heard that the upcoming version of Microsoft Windows named Windows 7 (formerly known as Blackcomb and Vienna) is going to use a highly modified version of the Linux Kernel 2.6.24.4
Aniruddha's reply
microsoft can not bring in Any GPL v3 material into their products because GPL V.3 is supposedly a viral License as whenever somebody uses the gpl v3 material, all the product should go GPL!
So, if microsoft wants to
use linux kernel (which is under gpl v2) it can safely use it but no other v3 software at all. In gpl v2 case also they will have to open their own code too.
BTW
I don't know the fact about that if microsoft really is going to go that way. But, their new product windows 7 is a modified version of vista as they say.
Anyways... I got to get in touch with Windows 7 before its launch (Its not launched yet as of 20'th Nov. 2008). They have got pretty cool GUI (Seems to be a diluted version of the beautiful linux desktop enlightenment).
Although it is so, it is a bit more user friendly (If the user is not a dumb.) than its predecessor Vista.
But not as cool as Enlightenment / Compiz based desktops itself
I hope, this will help someone

Hi All,Online after a lot of days! Thats because I am currently wandering
& travelling through Northern regions of India. By now I have lived in BABINA(UP) for almost 15+ days, then at Jhansi (UP) for a few days and right now I am in Sagaur (MP). I really wondered about the life standard and govrnment's negligence towards Jhansi and other cities in UP.
Jhansi is a district with a long heritage line in the History of India like "Jhansi ki Rani Laxmibai" who galantly fought with the
British Army in 1857. Still, I thought that the city is quite underdeveloped and does not have a good infrastructure. We (I and Bhushan Puranik who is with me in this venture for all these days) could not even find state public transport and other facilities that
Governments generally provide. Not to talk about roads! You will require at least an hour or more to cross a distance of mere 20 Kms!
Sagaur, I found to be very beautiful city, full of cheer and Joy. May be thats because the city was blessed with Acharya Rajnish (Osho's) presence there for a long time in his earlier days.
Sagaur's Dr. Harisinh Gaur University is the oldest University in Madhya Bharat (Central India).
A lot to come on this when I will be at Pune again! I could not arrange to add photographs that I have taken so far.
Anyways,
Bye, take care

Hey guys,
When I read this quote "Power does not corrupt men; fools, however, if they get into a position of power, corrupt power. George Bernard Shaw."
I thought, George Bernard Shaw would not have thought of the another George: George Bush!! Also, he must be using The word "Fool" by some other meaning.
Why?? just go through the quotes and you will come to know why!
